A message from Leza Davis,
owner of The Mona Leeza
The Mona Leeza Spa & Salon opened its doors in October of 2004. It seems like it was just yesterday when the ribbon was cut at our joyous occasion but the preparation towards that day started over 20 years ago. Let me share with you our “fairy-tale” story.
Our Spa
Derek and I have been licensed cosmetologists with almost 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. We also have 25 years of experience being a married couple, which is (as many of you know) no small feat. Our passions for beauty, both inward and outward lead us to work in several spa and salons in New Jersey and Pennsylvania specializing in skin care. Derek’s talent for makeup has been published in a top industry magazine. He is also a certified massage therapist. This passion is only surpassed by our commitment to God, each other and our community.
Our motto when building the Mona Leeza Spa was “build it and they will come,” and yes, they have come. We can assure you that the hardest part about your first visit is trying to find us so please read the directions well. You may even think that you’re lost but trust me you’re going in the right direction. If you need assurance, just call and we’ll come out to meet you.
The Mona Leeza Spa is located right in the middle of the neighborhood we love so much. We wanted to create an environment that would make you feel like home. That is what makes our spa special. It’s a difference you will see and feel as soon as you walk in.
What To Expect When You Visit:
- A warm and intimate atmosphere
- Services catered to your exact needs
- Friendly and courteous staff
- A private place for your next spa party
- Very high sanitary standards
Giving Back
One of the things that Derek and I promised each other when we were married was to always give back to the community that has supported us over the years and continues to support us today. Not only has philanthropy been a pillar of our lives, but it is also a founding principle of The Mona Leeza Spa and Salon. The following are some of the movements that Derek and I have spearheaded in our community that, we hope, enhance the lives of those around us:
- Helped to establish the non-profit organization, West Atco Youth in Action, Inc. and opened the Learning Resource Center that serves as a hub in our community for after-school tutoring and International Black Belt Hall of Fame (2009) karate program to name a few.
- Organized the campaign to build a new playground complex in our community which was completed in 2005
- And yes, the opening of The Mona Leeza Spa and Salon.
There are many Spas to choose from, not better, but many. The Mona Leeza Spa was built with you in mind. We invite you to experience the difference.
